Bing Translator

Bing Translator is a free translation service for online automatic translation of text and web pages. It currently translates 32 languages including Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Chinese, Italian, Korean, Thai and Russian.

Go To

Text translation

  • Select your original and translation language from the drop down box.,
  • Type or paste your text in the “Enter text or webpage URL” box.
  • Click the "Translate" button.

Web page translation

  • Select your original and translation language from the drop-down box.
  • Enter the URL of a web page in the "Enter text or webpage URL" box.
  • Click the "Translate" button.
  • Once in the Bilingual Viewer, you can change viewing modes, target language, or URL by clicking on the controls in the menu bar.

The browser:

Get instant translation tightly integrated with your browsing experience. No need to copy and paste text from the site you are viewing into Bing Translator page.

Simply select some text and then click on the blue Accelerators icon Accelator. Point to "Translate with Bing" option. From the submenu that will appear, select your target language and the translation will be displayed instantly.

Note: IE accelerators are available only in IE8 or later.

Microsoft Office

Now you can translate your Microsoft Office documents with Bing Translator – right within Office! Translate words, phrases, or even your entire document, through the Research task pane.
The service is enabled by default in Microsoft Office 2010.
For both Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, download the Microsoft Translator Installer.
Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007 currently use WorldLingo as the default machine translator in the Research task pane. This download will update the Research task pane to set Bing Translator as the default translator and WorldLingo as the fallback translator.
